GMAC Renaissance CTR represents a small group of skyscrapers in Detroit, Michigan. The center consists of seven different buildings. It also hosts the General Motors headquarters. One of the towers is the tallest hotel in the western hemisphere.
The construction began in 1973 and was over in 1977. Several towers were added during the ’80s too. Aside from the hotel services, the center provides commercial offices as well, not to mention about rental places for retail businesses. The number of employees changes on a regular basis, depending on who leaves or joins the center.
Overtime, it was one of the most successful ideas in Detroit.
